Stalking, running, and hunting [OPEN]

Ignitingshade ran from the clans camp to the moors where they would begin hunting. The way his lung burned with lack of air, it felt good. The wind comes through his short black hair, raking it's cold fingers along his spine. This was what freedom was, being able to enjoy ones self. The black tom had to stifle a laugh and purr that was building up in his chest. He glanced around looking for a blue grey streak of Otterfern. Perhaps he one and Otterfern was left eating his dust. He slowed down and looked around, waiting for the she-cat.

Otterfern might've been spotted grinning from afar before padding up to the tomcat."Hey. We tied," she said calmly, sitting down beside him, once an ebony flash before her holly green orbs. She blinked them, the reflection of the dying morning's sun once ablaze on them, yet washed away by the bluish-grey sheaths of Otterfern's eyelids. The warrior she-cat purred. "I think that was a very good race." Otterfern wasn't panting, but her breaths were only slightly deeper and more intaking than before. She leaned back nonchalantly, parting her jaws in a somewhat silent yawn. She then settled down into the peaty moss below her, dampened in certain parts by the fading dew of early morning. Despite being a rather senior warrior, Otterfern nearly always slept in like a cumbersome apprentice. She enjoyed rest, no pesky kits or apprentices to annoy her.
