| HOW TO MAKE A CHARACTER ON COTS
A step-by-step guide on how to make your first character on COTS! If you have any troubles with this process, feel free to contact a member of staff.Step 1: Click on the "HOME" page and scroll down until you reach the board pictured below. Click into that board.  Step 2: Click onto the "BIO TEMPLATE" thread that's provided.  Step 3: Highlight and copy the code in the darker gray box. Then select "NEW TOPIC"  Step 4: Paste the application/code into the big white textbox and fill it out. Once you've finished, simply click "SEND" at the bottom!  Note: You do not need to fill out the application all at once. If you want to take your time with it, simply include "W.I.P" in the title. This stands for Work In Progress, so staff know that you're still working on it.
To get f.a.s.t replies, it's a good idea to "tag" staff in the thread. That way we get a message telling us that your application is waiting! You can tag staff by putting an '@' symbol, followed by their username. | |
