History:
Valérie and her brother, Beau, were born into Paris, France. The pair, who both were considered rather beautiful, were quickly adopted by a rather wealthy couple - aristocrats, you could say. The two were quite spoiled; though Val loved her life, Beau hated it. After a while, the couple moved elsewhere, taking the two with them. Val and Beau were both show cats, though Beau eventually ran away to pursue a more thrilling, hard alley-cat life. Val sees her brother often, as the two are very close.

Description:
Valérie is a beautiful Turkish Angora, with striking blue eyes and silky fur. Though most of her pure white pelt is medium-length, her tail is long and plumy. Val is also medium-small in height, with an elegant stature and, overall, a graceful appearance, with rather large and upright ears. (Though it isn't pictured, she wears an ice-blue collar around her neck.)

Personality:
Valérie's personality changes quite often, actually. She doesn't seem to have just one. Most of the time, she's rather friendly and energetic, eager to have a conversation with a friend. Other times, she can be cold and rather rude. Many times, she can become very flirty and charming if she sees a handsome tom she fancies. No matter what, however, she is loyal to her friends and those who assist her or show her kindness. She insists on repaying those her have helped her, and will become downright aggressive if her friends' lives are threatened. Even if the cat is seen as evil in the eyes of everyone else, if they befriend Val, she would defend them to her last breath. She values her friends more than anything. However, her extreme trust and loyalty can often be a burden - if she gets betrayed, she takes it very hard, and will often become cold and spiteful for a while afterwards.
However, if you really get to know Val, you'll find that she's rather... unhappy. She has a rather bleak outlook on life, as she feels like she's just some form of entertainment. She feels rather pressured by everyone to be "perfect", being a beloved show cat. One insult can instantly ruin her mindset for the day. This outlook can cause her to become rather cold and distant at times, especially when she's alone.

Valérie drifted through the garden of her backyard, her expression solemn. Her brother hadn't visited in a while, and needless to say, she was quite worried. He was a rough-and-tough rogue now. He was the type to get involved in dangerous things. Val, personally, was much too dainty and above things like that. She'd fancy a walk through the woods, however, but she'd never dream of hunting or fighting. She was content with her soft, peaceful life as a kittypet. She got all her needs and wants, after all! Lots of toys to play with, a large yard to explore, delicious food to eat without needing to catch, and cute toms in the neighborhood. It couldn't get much better.
'... Well...' Val sighed softly, jumping up onto the fence separating her property from the forest beyond. She always had an issue with self esteem. Sure, she was a show cat, but that came with a lot of pressure. She had to be perfect. If she wasn't, she'd let down her owners! The she-cat couldn't stand to disappoint them. She was eager to please. Now Beau, too, had hated the pressure. It was one of the main reasons why he had chosen the life of a rogue. Val often found herself envious of the male; he had a free life with little pressure, after all. Yet, she never desired such a life. As much pressure as Val felt she had, she'd never give up her kittypet life.
