Made by @Shadow~Ravenstar of VultureClan~"Let all cat's old enough to catch their own prey gather for a clan meeting!" Ravenstar yowled out once she situated herself on the Sky Oak. She curled her tail over her paws as she glanced at her clan as they crowded towards the Sky Oak. Ravenstar glanced at Foldedleaf, silently telling him to continue what she started. The black feline glanced around for one particular cat, Hazelkit. When her green orbs landed on the kit she nodded towards her, telling her to come towards Foldedleaf and herself.

| As he sat staring at the wall of his den, Foldedleaf heard the familiar yowl of Ravenstar. He immediately knew what it was about and stood up, poking his head out into the camp. The leader's glance erased any and all doubt as to what the meeting was about. He ran over to the Sky Oak and positioned himself on a low branch to ready himself to speak. He shook himself to be rid of the nervousness that kept creeping up within him. He had been wondering if he had made the right decision since he told Ravenstar about the kit, but as he sat there on the oak branch he knew for certain that he had chosen the right cat. He waited for Hazelkit to walk forward then took a deep breath. "Cats of Vultureclan, as you know, I will not be around forever. So it's time I took an apprentice. I have chosen a cat who has shown patience. Your next medicine cat will be Hazelkit." | |

Hazelkit looked up at the two older felines on top of the Sky Oak. She wondered who and what the ceremony was for. The kit didn't know who it was for until the medicine cat called her name. From Ravenstar's cue, she could tell that it was time for her to step forward. The brown kit stepped forward and looked to the cats on the tree with curiosity. What did she do? She didn't recall a time when she put a thorn in someone's nest or sneaking out? So what was going on? Little than she knew, her life would change forever. Made by @Shadow |

| Ravenstar waited patiently as Foldedleaf talked out to the clan. He was right, he wouldn't be around forever and it was about time he finally took on an apprentice. Once he finished his little speech Ravenstar looked at Hazelkit. The chocolate feline looked nervous, almost like she didn't know what was going on. So what Ravenstar does best is that she gave the soon to be apprentice a warming smile. Encouraging her and hoping to settle and fear or question's that were more than likely blowing around in her head. "Hazelkit, do you accept the position of apprentice to Foldedleaf?" Ravenstar asked the apprentice. In order for this to work young Hazelkit would need to accept the position first. If she didn't it would seem that Foldedleaf wouldn't be getting an apprentice. However, if she did she would be known as Hazelpaw and begin her training. | |

Then it hit her. She was so caught up in getting into trouble that she missed Foldedleaf's words. If Ravenstar didn't ask her if she accepted the role, she would have looked like a fool. That was Hazelkit. She often wondered if other thought she was deaf. Probably so...probably not. The brown kit stepped up and puffed her chest. "I do," she said proudly to cover up the shakiness in her voice. So the medicine cat must have caught her peeking into his den out of curiosity. Unlike other apprentices, she didn't have the urge to dig her claws into someone or something. Hunting was something she didn't care to do if other cats in the clan could do it for her. She began to look around the camp with her round leaf green eyes. If she got accepted then she would be the best cat in the clan forever! Made by @Shadow |
