Ravenstar jumped up and climed the Sky Oak before settling on a thick branch and looking down towards where her clan would settle for the meeting. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey prey gather for a clan meeting!" The black feline yowled out, loud enough for all to hear. It was about time Ravenstar renamed Stonepaw his new mentor after his previous mentors death. She knew he hated slacking and striving to help her clan it's the least she could do for him. After all he hardly conversed with others considering he was always determined to become the best of the best. "Stonepaw your previous mentor has recently passed away and I think it's about high time you continue your training," Ravenstar gave the apprentice a warming smile, her eyes glowing in understanding for his want– no need to continue his training, after all she was the same way. "Blackadder will be your new mentor," she spoke loudly before looking towards the black feline, "Blackadder, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You have received excellent training from Blackheart, and proven yourself to be clever and loyal. You will be the mentor or Stonepaw, and I expect you to pass on all your knowledge to Stonepaw," Ravenstar yowled out. She knew Blackadder had little patience when it came to young cats, but she knew the two would be a good pair with Stonepaw's determination to become a warrior and his lack of goofing off would cause little problems with Blackadder, plus Stonepaw was almost finished with his training. Only a few moons or so left before she would evaluate him and deem if he was ready or not.

The sleek black male had been in the middle of basking in the warm light of the sun, he'd gone hunting earlier that morning and was taking a moment to relax. Orange eyes closed, muzzle on his paw, he was disturbed by a familiar yowl filling the air, sighing softly he reopened his eyes and stood, back arching and claws digging into the ground beneath him. The often sassy sarcastic tom cat kept his jaws closed when he realized what Ravenstar was doing, a slight smirk as always decorating his features, however when he of all cats was picked as Stonepaws new mentor. Casting a glance towards his new apprentice he nodded in acceptance. He was not quite convinced they were going to get along, he himself preferred lashing out with his tongue than with claws when it came to fighting, so he doubted he'd be a good teacher when it came to fight training. However hunting was something he could definitely work with, “Very well Ravenstar” he murmured to himself, well it was time to get things done. At least stonepaw had had a mentor before him so he didn't need to bother with dragging the apprentice all around the territory. If he was honest the apprentice reminded himself of his sister, although she'd been a lot more innocent, Maplebreeze with her interesting markings and caring nature. Privately thinking that Maplebreeze would have been a better choice he accepted the hand that he'd been dealt and returned his attention to Ravenstar wondering if that was all to this clan meeting.

Stonepaw's head shot up when Ravenstar had called for a meeting. His eyes widened as he got to his paws, almost quivering with anticipation. 'Is this it? Am I finally getting a new mentor?' he wondered, padding forward. When it turned out that he was going to continue, the feline's eyes lit up. His posture straightened, as it usually did whenever he was addressed to. "Blackadder will be your new mentor." At the words, his intense red eyes flicked towards the said warrior. Admittedly, the young tom felt a little daunted. Blackadder was known for his sharp tongue and scathing attitude. However, Stonepaw didn't let that get to him. 'That can only be beneficial, surely! It'll push me to try harder!' the apprentice told himself, accepting the fact that Blackadder would take the place as his mentor, and that was that.

-Since Stonepaw is half way through with his training and already an apprentice there is no need for the clan shouting his name. Blackadder, you may begin making a thread and finish Stonepaw's training-
